Jerrid Syn
Jerrid Syn - Clan Zarkan

Home World (origin)
Kilia IV
This temperate planet, located in the Unknown Regions, was noted as the homeward of the Kilian Bantha. Kilia IV was the only habitable planet in the Kilia System, and was settled by human colonists many millennia before the Battle of Yavin. Over time, they lost their starship technology, and remained isolated from the galaxy for nearly 1,000 years before their planet was encountered by Imperial scouts. (WOTC)

Birth name: Nietyn Zarkan. Younger of two brothers born to the house of Jerrid Tremor Zarkan .

Chosen name: Took on his elders brothers family name of Jerrid Syn Zarkan.

Name known to all: Jerrid Syn (after leaving his home world)

Brothers bio: (necessary) Jerrid Syn Zarkan was first born son, to the House of Jerrid Tremor Zarken. The Zarken House had once themselves established a strong influence across their borders a long time past. The Zarkan House had grown in strength and territory in the early history feudal days.

Through generations of peaceful government, and with their trade with the other Houses, the feudel society changed to a peaceful co-existence. Farming, and grazing of beasts became the common life. When Kilia-4 was re-founded by the Empire, many of the young generation were suddenly overcome by the new technology. They embraced the Empire and were quick to eat of its well orchestrated propaganda.

Jerrid Syn(son of = first born tittle, given to the eldest until such a time he becomes Head of House)Tarkan was one of these young men to forsake the family name of Zarkan and join the ranks of the Imperials. He had know that at one time, as told by his father, that they themselves were once star explores and had the knowledge of transversing the great voids between the stars. Jerrid longed to be able to leave this quiet world, the simple life, and the old ways of the Houses. He took to the Empire and was never heard of again.

Bio:
Nietyn Zarkan was the 2nd and the younger sons born to Jerrid Tremor, in the House of Zarkan. He had no birth right. Nietyn did have love of the land, of the pastures and the people that lived in his fathers lands. When his elder brother embraced the Empire and took off for the stars, and had let it be known to his father and family, that his destiny had finaly come. Not wanting to accept his fathers teachings and thinking to be free from this lost world, Nietyn's brother bade farewell. The Zarkan House had lost their Heir.

Nietyn Zarkans heart grieved for his brother and pained him to see his father weakened by the loss of his son. Nietyn Zarkan also saw the tretrous ways of these Imperial Lords, that now were settling on the lands bordering all the Great Houses. He saw how the lands were being changed and these Imperials were dictating their laws on the people that the Houses once governed in peace. Nietyn could no longer bear to see his Fathers House (The Zarkan House!), and the will (faith) of the people grow weaker by these new Lords. Nietyn came fourth and confronted his Father at 13 years of age. He could not sit still and see their ways corrupted by these Invaders. He'd rather die now, and take a few of these Imperial Lords with his last breath. His Fathers heart lifted and he knew that he had not lost his son. Jerrid Tremor Zarkan then revieled a past. A past that Nietyn would never had known. One that had been kept for nearly a millenia. A secret that only the Eldest by Birthright throughout all the Rulling Houses, had ever to know and to keep. Nietyn new now, that his brother was dead. He knew what was to be fitting of him.

The Great House of Zarkan had a hidden chamber...Deep in the lower levels of the House. For 4 years Nietyn absorbed the hidden skills that the first born were to pass onto their first born. Nietyn was becoming a man.

Over centuries of piece, in these lands of his people, they they had lost their fighting spirit. But nearly ten centuries past, they were as great a warrior as any legends had told. His eldest brother had know this, but was blinded by the power of these new people. His destiny, he layed on their hands, as many of the unfaithful Kilians did. But there were at first, a few...then many, who didn't buy into these new Imperial promises. These faithfuls were now gathering in secret. Looking to their Lords to lead them to fight, to free their world of these infidels. But what could they do, against such new technology and the power behind these new people? A secret pack was forged among them. A plan was formed. They would reclaim their lands. They would learn to fight. They would wait for their strenght, their Houses to lead them.
Nietyn had no choice. To stay here and do nothing, and see the world he once loved, taken over by the New Lords, was not acceptable. He knew he'd have to leave. Not like his brother, who never looked back, but like a Lord of his House, who would take it all back one day. He needed to know the ways of combat. The ways of the Ancient Lords. The old ways of cunning and leadership. He knew of his destiny. He had to go back to his past, and regain his strenght. He had a jihad to fight against this Empire. If it would take a lifetime to learn, so be it! He swore to his ancestors, to the House of Zarkan, and to the pack. Death alone would be the only thing to stop him. He was, what his brother would not be. He was now the Son of Jerrid. He was Jerrid Syn.
