Biography: A feirce fighter of the Ta'tae'oah, Ariiiheiva spent his early youth training with the other boys and men of his village in the ways of bow and sword. His body grew strong and his mind wise. He became a leader among his people, dedicated to preserving the Manuia'Tao way of life.
He had seen nineteen seasons of rain when he was chosen of all men in his village to become Tane, a husband to the blessed Faee'taei. It was during the ceremony atop the most ancient of Parah'Tael within the sanctity of the Elie'Tao that his eyes first fell upon the Goddess of his people. Her beauty and grace had stunned him into such a silence that he did not utter a sound as her warm hand touched his left arm, burning the mark of the Tane into his flesh. That first night inside her chambers would be forever etched into his memory.
The seasons came and went, his duty to his people growing ever more urgent as the fog of discord began to swirl across the Hio'Taei. Ariiheiva's Queen was restless, unable to sleep a night through with him or any of her other seven Tane. The eternal Tao'klo'Sha'Oah could not interpret her dreams, except that change was in the air.
The rain season passed once more, and the time of festivals was upon them. Ariiheiva was risen from the Tane and blessed by the Priestess' of the Elie'Tao. He was Hoe'tane, the First Husband, the Ta'tae'oah prophesied to be the first Ga'ien'Tao, the Guardian of the Fire and protector of she who possessed it. Never before in the history of the Manuia'Tao had there been need of such a man, yet the Priestess' could no longer deny the dreams of their Faee'Taei.
Death was coming to Manuia'Tao.
